SVRWF MEETING

Debra Tash: Sustainable Development vs. Sustainable Freedom
Guest speaker, Debra Tash has been past president of the Citizens Alliance for Property Rights and is now Treasurer/Secretary, advocating and defending what our founding fathers knew to be paramount to our liberty, the right to own and use private property, which entails our homes, farms and the very sweat of our brow, what we earn from our labors. She is also a published author and has won a national book award for her novel, Challenge The Wind, set in the Revolutionary War.
Debra is going to speak to us on what is going on right in our own backyards, and to our backyards, Sustainable Development vs Sustainable Freedom. Under mandate by the State of California many communities in California are being transformed from rural, simi-rural or suburban to urban centers. You may be familiar with the phrases, pack and stack, social and environmental justice, all used to justify what is happening right here in our own county. And it is being planned for our community right now.
